Daniel Faucett - Founder of Science Faith & Reasoning.

​Daniel graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in General Science & Education before pursuing a Master's Degree in Biology, where he completed his capstone project on cellular healing. Daniel formerly taught AP Biology and AP Chemistry for six years at a rural high school in Alabama, where he coached varsity basketball and led the First Priority program. He founded the school's first Science Club, where students performed annual research projects involving water quality monitoring, bacteriology, toxicology, and plant cell biology. Currently, Daniel teaches Biology, Microbiology, and Anatomy at a local community college. He teaches Sunday school at a non-denominational church and loves to incorporate apologetics and science into his lessons.

Shepard Merritt - Writer and podcaster for Science Faith and Reasoning.

​Shep is a husband to Alex and a father to Josiah and Judith. Shep got saved as a young teenager and has developed a passion and desire to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Holding to fundamental baptist doctrines, it is a priority of his to defend salvation by grace through faith and the eternal security of the believer.
