To explain how your donations will be used at SFR, I want to spell out our financial needs as well as where I want to take this website and its associated podcasts (and contributors) in the future.
Currently, we are not a defined organization or a tax-exempt organization (although that is something I would like to do in the future), this is simply a website with associated podcasts, where contributors gain inherent copyright protection for their original works through our platform.
Our Financial Needs
The bare minimum needs for this website are super low. It costs a small amount of money to keep our domain and web hosting running. For the current setup, that's only about $150/year. But as our memberships grow, that number will grow, as it will cost more to host more members, collect more data, and host more videos in house. Even when that number grows, though, it will max out around $320/year by the current pricing scale by our provider.
While the minimum needs are small, the broader goals for this website will require more resources. We understand that it may not be God's will to move us beyond these minimal needs, and we are ok with that. But, if the Lord desires, He will support us through the donations of His people, and if that occurs, you will find our future goals below.
Future Goals
Here are the four longterm goals for SFR:
1.) Use funds to support contributors when they create podcasts, videos, or write articles/series, or create any other content.
2.) Use funds to market our content across the internet to draw people to the Word and to the Son.
3.) Fund tours for sharing the Gospel, but also for defending the faith against those who make claims against the existence of God, the character of God, or the Word of God.
4.) Keep SFR+ free so that anyone, despite their income, can grow in a community of believers who want to learn how to better understand God's Word and defend the faith.
